I was very lucky to get the opportunity to hear Hillary Schieve speak at last weekend’s WordCamp. After listening to her, I felt proud to be from Reno and confident that my city is heading towards a bright future.

Thanks Brian Duggan! I’m excited to share this with others.

  1. Wonderful blog! Do you have any suggestions for aspiring writers?
I’m hoping to start my own site soon but I’m a little lost
on everything. Would you suggest starting with a free platform like WordPress or go
for a paid option? There are so many choices out there that I’m completely confused .. Any suggestions? Kudos!

    1. Thank you so much! My suggestion would be to never give up and learn time management skills! When blogging, the content is so much more important than the way the site looks, especially at first. If you write it they will come 🙂 I would suggest starting with a free platform and then expanding from there once you start to understand how you like to work and what is easy for you. WordPress has worked great for me, but some people like Blogger and Tumblr. It kind of depends on what you want to write!
